In such a world where there is so much injustice, inequality and environmental destruction how can we still convince ourselves that society is in a better position than it has ever been before. When the majority of people live under the control of only a select few how can we say that we are free. Surely at some point we must realise that change has to occur for the good of humanity. Some may point towards examples such as the Soviet Union and Modern Day Cuba as reasons as to why we should maintain our one way ticket to oblivion. However the world must unite to achieve a Marxist goal due to our economies being so intertwined. The stronger economies must realise that this is for the greater good. Alas, will they realise this before it is too late. Confucius
